A good crowd showed up on sale day for Wirruna’ s Autumn Bull and Female sale. 70 registered bidders competed strongly throughout the sale and AuctionsPlus saw a dramatic increase in activity with 197 bids placed by 15 active bidders. There was strong competition for proven Wirruna Sires averaging at $13,500 and a top of $22,000 going to Cascade Poll Hereford Stud. The overall sale average was at a record high of $7,830 with 91% clearance of bulls and again many new faces keen to try Wirruna genetics!
With much needed rain in northern NSW and wide-spread rains predicted on the horizon the competition for replacement females was high. Individual Stud females averaged $3,325 with a top of $5,250 and 100% clearance of all female lots.
The team at Wirruna Poll Herefords would like to thank all the long term and new clients for their support.
