Activity was strong across the board with demand for proven Wirruna sires and PTIC females. Lot 8 Wirruna Phil was sold for a sale record of $70,000 to Tarcombe Herefords and Quamby Plains Poll Herefords. There was significant stud activity with Glendan Park purchasing Lot 4 for $27,000, Days Whiteface purchasing Lot 22 for $23,000 and Yavenvale Herefords purchasing Lot 45 for $18,000. There was a significant crowd on the day with over 180 people signing in with 108 registered buyers and 46 active online bidders. The overall average for the bulls was beyond expectation at $12,983.
Individual PTIC females sold to a top of $15,250 to Jaclinton Poll Herefords in Illowa, Victoria. Individual females averaged $7,500 and group lots averaged $5,022.
